Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a fresh reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, from N950 to N890, effective Saturday, February 1, 2025. The Oyo State Government has converted One Thousand, Five Hundred and Ninety one (1,591) Local Government Ad-hoc workers across the state into permanent staffs. It would be recalled that Governor Seyi Makinde, approved the conversion of ad hoc staff in the service of the 33 Local Government Councils in the State to permanent staff in October last year, to bridge the gap in the workforce at the local government level.
