Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, on Friday distributed 100 operational vehicles equipped with communication gadgets to various security agencies across the state as part of efforts to strengthen security operations.
The beneficiaries of the vehicles include the Nigeria Police Force, Operation Burst, Department of State Services, Nigerian Correctional Service, and the Oyo State Amotekun Corps.
The governor also presented operational vehicles to the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority to improve traffic control and enhance security-related operations across the state.
The distribution of the vehicles is aimed at boosting the operational capacity of security agencies and improving rapid response to security challenges within Oyo State.
