Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has appointed Mrs. Adenike Ayobami Fasina as the new Head of the Oyo State Civil and Public Service following the retirement of Mrs. Olubunmi Olufunke Oni, mni.
Fasina, an indigene of Eruwa, takes over the leadership of the state civil service after serving as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance.
She joined the Oyo State civil service in 2000 and steadily rose through the ranks to attain the position of Permanent Secretary.
The newly appointed Head of Service is also a member of the National Institute (mni) and has been recognised twice with the Oyo State Merit and Productivity Award for her contributions to the public service.
In addition to the appointment, Governor Makinde also approved the appointment of 20 new Executive Secretaries and General Managers across different agencies and departments within the state public service.
The appointments are expected to further strengthen the administrative and operational capacity of the Oyo State civil and public service.
