The House of Assembly candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for Saki West Local Government, Salaudeen Kabeer Adebayo, has extended warm Eid Mubarak greetings to Muslim faithful in Saki West, Oyo State, and across Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Adha festival.
In a Sallah message made available to journalists, Hon. Adebayo described Eid-el-Adha as a significant period that reflects the values of sacrifice, obedience, gratitude, and compassion, which he said remain fundamental to both the Islamic faith and humanity.
He stated that the spirit of the season should strengthen unity among the people, deepen mutual love, and inspire collective efforts toward the peace, growth, and development of communities.
The APM candidate urged residents to use the celebration as an opportunity to remember and support the less privileged in society, while also upholding the lessons of piety, service, and selflessness associated with Eid-el-Adha.
According to him, the festival serves as a reminder of the need for individuals to remain committed to acts of kindness, peaceful coexistence, and communal harmony.
Hon. Adebayo also prayed for Allah’s mercy and blessings upon the people, asking God to accept the prayers and sacrifices of the faithful, forgive shortcomings, and bless homes with peace, good health, and prosperity.
He further wished Muslim faithful and their families a joyful and spiritually rewarding Eid-el-Adha celebration.
