The Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Bashorun Akinwale Solomon Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, has been celebrated for his dedication to humanity, leadership and commitment to service as he marks his 54th birthday.
A tribute in honour of the commission chairman described him as an “Omoluabi per excellence” whose leadership style reflects compassion, dedication and an unwavering resolve to positively impact lives.
The tribute highlighted his approach to duties at the commission, noting that his commitment has continued to bring visible transformation to the Local Government House and the Training School, both of which were said to be wearing new looks on a daily basis.
It further noted that the construction of a new car park and perimeter fencing are among recent efforts aimed at adding value to the existing structures and improving the environment within the commission.
Akinwole was also commended for the reevaluation of training programmes as well as reforms that have enhanced staff development and administrative efficiency.
According to the tribute, the ease with which promotion interviews are now conducted further demonstrates his concern for workers’ welfare and career advancement.
As he begins another year, prayers were offered for continued peace, comfort, blessings, happiness and more glorious moments in his life.
