The Nigeria Police Force has opened a fresh nationwide recruitment exercise, calling on qualified Nigerians to apply for enlistment into the Force as part of efforts to strengthen national security.

The development was announced via the official X (formerly Twitter) handle of the Nigeria Police Force, where the institution described the exercise as an opportunity for citizens who are willing and committed to serving the country.

According to the Police, the recruitment is open to eligible candidates who meet the criteria stipulated by the Force. Prospective applicants were advised to carefully study the eligibility conditions, application procedures and other relevant information provided on the official recruitment portal.

The Force stressed that applications must be submitted exclusively online through npfapplication.psc.gov.ng, which it identified as the only authorised platform for the recruitment exercise.

It further disclosed that the application process is time-bound, with the portal scheduled to close on February 8, 2026. Applicants were therefore urged to complete and submit their applications before the deadline to avoid disqualification.

The Nigeria Police Force also reaffirmed its commitment to conducting the recruitment process in a transparent and fair manner, while advising applicants to rely solely on official channels for accurate and credible information.
