    Halleluyah Reformed Political Movement Declares Support for Agboola, Clarifies Position on PDP Exit

    The Halleluyah Reformed Political Movement (HRPM), Saki East Local Government chapter, has reaffirmed its loyalty to former Senate Deputy Chief Whip, Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola, popularly known as Halleluyah, following his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

    The group made its position known in a communiqué issued at the end of its meeting held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Sepeteri Town Hall, Oyo State.

    In the communiqué jointly signed by the coordinators, Alhaji Tajudeen Adetunji Alliu and Hon. Adam Folaranmi, the movement described the meeting as “a historic political gathering” convened to reaffirm their unity, purpose, and direction under the leadership of Senator Agboola.

    The statement noted that Senator Agboola’s resignation from the PDP was a “well-considered personal and political decision” driven by integrity, principle, and a desire to serve the people of Oyo State in new and redefined ways.

    While acknowledging the growing speculation about Agboola’s next political move, the movement clarified that the former lawmaker has not joined any political party.

    “However, it is important to clearly state that our leader, Oga Halleluyah, has not yet declared for any political party in Nigeria. He remains focused, reflective, and committed to the values of fairness, equity, and development that have always guided his political journey,” the communiqué stated, urging supporters to disregard any rumour suggesting otherwise.

    The HRPM emphasized that it is not a political party but a reform platform for loyal supporters and admirers of Senator Agboola to “unite, share ideas, and prepare for a brighter political future.”

    “Our movement stands for truth, transparency, service, and unity of purpose among the good people of Oyo State,” the group declared, adding that its vision is to “reform, rebuild, and reposition the political structure of our land for genuine development and people-oriented governance.”

    The communiqué also called on members across the thirty-three local government areas of Oyo State to remain steadfast and peaceful, expressing optimism that the future holds greater opportunities for the movement.

    In its closing remarks, the HRPM reaffirmed its “unshakable loyalty” to Senator Agboola and prayed for divine guidance and success in his political journey.

    “May God bless Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola. May God bless the Halleluyah Reformed Political Movement. May God bless Oyo State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” the communiqué concluded.

    Repeated chants of ‘Halleluyah ni jo… Halleluyah ni jare!’ echoed through the meeting hall, symbolizing unity and renewed commitment among the members.
