The Party leadership commends leaders across all 33 local governments and 351 wards of the State for their exceptional unity, harmony, and collaboration in nominating individuals with integrity and character for these positions.
The PDP charges the new appointees to embrace their roles with diligence, recognizing that with every privilege comes responsibility. They are urged to view their appointments as a rare opportunity rather than a mark of superiority over others in their localities. Cooperation with local government chairmen and other stakeholders is essential for the development of their areas.
Additionally, the Party reminds all local government chairmen that, by the Governor’s directive, all new appointees should be sworn in immediately.
