Hon. Shuarau Abdulhakeem, popularly known as Adeak, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the Saki West State Constituency seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly, has congratulated Arc. Basiru Aremu Lawal, the party’s candidate for the Atisbo, Saki East and Saki West Federal Constituency, on the occasion of his birthday.
In his congratulatory message, Adeak described the birthday as an opportunity to celebrate the life, leadership experience and public service contributions of Arc. Lawal, whom he commended for his years of commitment to the development of Saki West and the wider Oke-Ogun region.
Adeak particularly highlighted the celebrant’s record as a three-time Chairman of Saki West Local Government, noting that his experience in the administration of the council had given him considerable exposure to grassroots governance and the challenges facing the people.
He described Arc. Lawal as a tested and trusted leader, expressing confidence in his capacity to bring his wealth of experience to bear if given the opportunity to serve at the National Assembly.
The ADC House of Assembly candidate also expressed optimism about the prospects of their respective political aspirations, stating that, if elected, both of them would work towards addressing the needs of their constituents and improving the living conditions of the people they seek to represent.
According to Adeak, their aspirations for the Saki West State Constituency and the Atisbo, Saki East and Saki West Federal Constituency are centred on effective representation and initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of the people.
He further expressed the hope that their proposed legislative responsibilities would provide opportunities to address pressing community needs and contribute to the socio-economic development of their constituencies.
