Hon. Shuarau Abdul Hakeem Adeak (SAHA), popularly known as ADEAK, has officially obtained the nomination form to contest for the Saki West State Constituency seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking after obtaining the form, Hon. Shuarau said his decision to contest was driven by his passion for the welfare and development of the people of Saki West, stressing that he is committed to championing legislation and policies that will improve the living standards of the constituency.
According to him, effective representation extends beyond occupying political office, noting that the people deserve purposeful leadership that focuses on empowerment, infrastructural growth, youth development, and improved social welfare.
Hon. Shuarau is an accomplished professional with strong academic credentials. He holds both a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Master of Science (MSc) degrees in Estate Management from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He has also acquired other professional qualifications in his field.
Beyond academics and professional experience, ADEAK is widely known as a grassroots politician with practical experience in public service. He previously served as Supervisory Councillor for Works, Land and Transport in Saki West Local Government, where he contributed to community-focused development initiatives.
Supporters and political associates have described his emergence as a step towards inclusive representation and people-oriented governance in Saki West, expressing confidence in his capacity to deliver quality legislative service if elected into the Oyo State House of Assembly in 2027.
