The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has faulted the ongoing moves in the State House of Assembly aimed at impeaching Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy.

Reacting to the development, the opposition party described the impeachment move as untenable, insisting that such action could undermine governance and political stability in the state.
The APC cautioned against any step that could destabilise the Rivers State government, stressing that the impeachment process being contemplated by lawmakers would do more harm than good to the state’s political environment.
