Today marks the birthday of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and the Majority Leader of the Saki West Legislative Council, Hon. Salaudeen Kabeer Adebayo, has joined millions of admirers to celebrate the governor, describing him as a purposeful and people-oriented leader.
In a birthday message released to the press on Friday, Hon. Kabeer praised Governor Makinde for his consistent commitment to good governance, inclusive development, and responsive leadership across Oyo State.
The Majority Leader noted that Governor Makinde’s administration has brought remarkable transformation to critical sectors such as education, healthcare, road infrastructure, agriculture, and youth empowerment, with visible impact across all zones of the state, including the Oke-Ogun region.
“Governor Seyi Makinde has demonstrated that leadership is about service, courage, and accountability. His policies and projects continue to improve the quality of life of the people and deepen public trust in government,” Hon. Kabeer said.
He further commended the governor for prioritising grassroots development and ensuring that local governments benefit from state-driven interventions, particularly in agriculture and rural infrastructure.
Hon. Kabeer also applauded the governor’s support for workers’ welfare, security initiatives, and agricultural value chain development, which he said has strengthened food security and economic stability in the state.
As the governor celebrates another year, Hon. Salaudeen Kabeer prayed for good health, divine wisdom, and renewed strength for Governor Makinde to continue steering Oyo State toward greater prosperity.
