The 2027 governorship race in Oyo State continued to gather momentum as Amofin Beulah Adeoye, president of the Beulah Adeoye Foundation, advanced his statewide consultations with a visit to Saki East Local Government Area. The meeting, held at the Information Centre in Sepeteri, brought together influential PDP elders, stakeholders, and political leaders from across the LGA.
Party elders who attended the engagement included Alhaji Owookola of Ogboro, Alhaji Jimoh Rewire of Sepeteri, Baba Ajenifuja of Oje Owode, Alhaji Folawiyo of Agbole, and Alhaji Muhi of Ago Amodu.
Welcoming Amofin Adeoye and his team, Alhaji Owookola described the gathering as strategic, noting that discussions centred on Adeoye’s governorship ambition and the need for inclusive governance in Oyo State.
Addressing the stakeholders, Amofin Adeoye emphasized the importance of unity among Oke-Ogun people to enhance the region’s political prospects. He urged residents to look beyond religious and group differences, stressing that collective effort was essential for stronger representation in state leadership.
He also commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his administrative strides and the infrastructural development recorded across Oke-Ogun and the entire state. Adeoye noted that greater development would be achievable if an Oke-Ogun indigene is supported to lead the state through democratic processes.
Highlighting his philanthropic contributions through the Beulah Adeoye Foundation, the legal practitioner assured that broader democratic dividends would reach every community if given a bigger platform to serve.
Stakeholders at the meeting expressed satisfaction with the interaction and collectively pledged their full support for his ambition. They encouraged Adeoye to sustain his consultations, adding that consistent efforts backed by good intentions often attract divine favour.
Adeoye’s entourage included Pa Ojelowo from Ago-Are, Alhaji Kabiru Adebayo, Head of the Amofin Beulah Political Movement, Hon. Alani Alwajud, Political Aide to Governor Makinde on Old Irepo Federal Constituency, as well as LGA Coordinators and members of the Beulah Adeoye Foundation led by Mr. Ridwan Fasasi, who later joined at the Legislative Chamber of Oorelope LGA.
