The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State has announced the constitution of its State Disciplinary and Reconciliation Committees as part of efforts to strengthen internal democracy, promote party discipline, and enhance unity among members across the state.

In a statement issued by the State Chairman of the PDP, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro, the move reflects the party’s resolve to maintain decorum, resolve internal disputes amicably, and sustain the unity and cohesion that have become the hallmark of the Oyo State chapter.
According to the statement, the composition of the two committees is as follows:
Oyo State PDP Disciplinary Committee
- Hon. Oludayo Opatokun – Chairman
- Pastor Biodun Popoola – Secretary
- Barr. Gbadegesin Waheed – Member
- Barr. Eedris Durosaro – Member
- Michael Ogunsina – Member
- Mrs. Dupe Temileyi – Member
- Hon. Kunmi Adesina – Member

Oyo State PDP Reconciliation Committee
- Hon. Mufu Ogunremi – Chairman
- Hon. Yemi Oyelami – Secretary
- Hon. Oludayo Opatokun – Member
- Hon. Kamorudeen Adeyemi – Member
- Hon. Yusuf Adekunle – Member
- Hon. Akinsola Ayuba – Member
- Hon. Wulemot Ibitoye – Member
- Hon. Toyin Olaniran – Member
- Hon. Lekan Bello – Member
Hon. Ogungbenro stated that the committees will be formally inaugurated in due course, with the date of inauguration to be announced soon.
He further reaffirmed the PDP’s commitment to unity, fairness, and inclusiveness in its operations, stressing that the committees will play vital roles in ensuring lasting peace and stability within the party.
