The campaign of the NULGE Integrity Group (NIG) gained further momentum as the team visited the Ibarapa zone today, where delegates and stakeholders turned out in large numbers to declare support for the presidential ambition of Comrade Salaudeen Ibrahim Olaiya in the upcoming NULGE election in Oyo State.

The event, held in Ibarapa Central Local Government, saw enthusiastic workers from Ibarapa East and Ibarapa North local governments converging to receive the campaign train. The atmosphere was charged with solidarity songs and chants in support of Comrade Salaudeen and his team.
In his remarks, Comrade Salaudeen praised Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his exceptional commitment to workers’ welfare, describing the governor as “God-sent” for the local government workforce. He highlighted his campaign vision anchored on improved welfare, empowerment, and inclusion for all NULGE members across the state.
He used the opportunity to solicit votes from the delegates in Ibarapa, assuring them of transparent, inclusive, and responsive leadership if elected. He also appreciated stakeholders and leaders in the zone for their steadfast loyalty and continuous support for the NIG project.
Alhaji Comrade Moshood Adedokun (Gallacy), a former state deputy president and leader of the campaign team, emphasised the need for delegates to support the NULGE Integrity Group. He described the team as a movement driven by integrity, capacity, and genuine service to members.
The Ibarapa campaign stop marks yet another successful outing for the NIG campaign train, which has already visited Oke-Ogun, Ogbomoso, and Oyo/Afijio zones. The campaign is expected to continue in the Ibadan zone in the days ahead.
The NULGE state election is scheduled for August 7, 2025
