The Oyo State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters has finalized preparations for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for ad-hoc staff who successfully registered on the Local Government job portal. The test is a critical step in the ongoing recruitment process.
The CBT will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre (CBT Hall), located on Sasa Road, Ibadan.
In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Demola Ojo, the test schedule was detailed as follows:
- 8:00 a.m. (Halls A, B, and C): Administrative Officers, Building/Quantity Surveying Officers, Agricultural Officers, Land Surveyors, Information Officers, Estate and Valuation Officers.
- 10:00 a.m. (Halls A and C): Environmental Health Officers and Data Processing Officers.
Hon. Ojo urged all eligible applicants who properly submitted their applications to watch for their invitation notifications, which will be sent out shortly. He further emphasized the importance of arriving at the venue with printed copies of their application confirmation and notification slips to ensure a smooth process.
This exercise underscores the state’s commitment to a transparent and merit-based recruitment process.
