The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Saki West Local Government branch, Comrade Ajuwon Ibrahim Ayinde, has expressed gratitude to the Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, for his generous support to local government staff. The Governor provided foodstuff as palliative materials to staff members on Grade Levels 1-6, aimed at alleviating the economic hardship faced by many.

Comrade Ajuwon praised the palliative initiative, stating that it would significantly assist the beneficiaries during these challenging times. He also extended his appreciation to the NULGE state president, Comrade Adeogun Ayobami, for his dedicated efforts in securing these palliatives from the government and working to improve the welfare of staff members.

In addition, the Head of Local Government Administration, Alhaji T.A. Olanrewaju, lauded Governor Makinde for extending a helping hand to the civil servants, recognizing the importance of such support during tough economic conditions.

One of the beneficiaries, Mr. Akeula, also expressed his gratitude, offering prayers and praise for the Governor’s generosity and acknowledging the efforts of those who organized the distribution of the palliatives.

The event was graced by dignitaries, including Prince K.O. Olaniyan, the Director of Administration and General Services (DAGS), NULGE executives, beneficiaries, and other attendees.
