Pastor (Ambassador) Oluwaseyi Kayode Ishola, the CEO of Higher Life Property Consult, Nigeria, was on August 20, 2024, appointed and decorated as a Youth Ambassador by the West African Youth Council (WAYC), a youth organization focused on promoting youth development, empowerment, and poverty eradication in West Africa.
The Head of Operations and Nigerian Representative of the West African Youth Council, Ambassador Olaleru Foluso, who decorated Pastor Kayode Ishola, highlighted that the honor was conferred in recognition of his invaluable contributions to job creation and his exemplary role as a positive influence through his real estate professional practice. He emphasized that while many youths have resorted to nefarious activities like cybercrime, kidnapping, and other social vices, the CEO of Higher Life Property Consult has positively impacted the lives of young people and the wider society.
Ambassador Foluso also mentioned that before conferring the honor, the West African Youth Council, headquartered in Abuja, conducted thorough due diligence on the activities of Higher Life Property Consult and its principal officers through governmental agencies like the EFCC, ICPC, and Police Intelligence Services. The company passed all checks, qualifying Pastor Kayode Ishola to be appointed as the Nelson Mandela Youth Ambassador for West Africa.
The council president noted that this award provides the new Ambassador with a platform to continue championing youth development not only in Africa but across the globe.
In his acceptance speech, Pastor Kayode Ishola expressed gratitude to the West African Youth Council for the recognition. He said that the award serves as motivation for him and his company to continue advancing the cause of youths and society at large. He also pledged, with God’s help, to remain committed to promoting initiatives that support youth development and contribute to humanity.
Family and friends attended the ceremony in support of the new Ambassador. Speaking on behalf of the Ishola family, Mr. Amos Akinlabi Ishola, JP, thanked the organizers and congratulated Pastor Kayode Ishola for bringing pride to the family through his legitimate business endeavors.
