Dr. Musa Abdulwasi, former Deputy Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for the opportunity to serve as the Chairman of the Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission.
In his statement, Dr. Abdulwasi highlighted the achievements of his tenure, noting the significant improvements made in the legislative service. He emphasized that under his leadership, the legislative service gained recognition, autonomy, and respect among the state’s various services. Additionally, the careers of legislative staff were streamlined in accordance with current working standards.
“As we come to the end of our term of office, there can be no better way to thank almighty Allah than saying ‘Alhamdulillah,'” Dr. Abdulwasi said. He also extended his appreciation to Governor Makinde for the opportunity to serve and to the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, for the effective working relationship.
Dr. Abdulwasi concluded by expressing his hopes for the continued growth and success of the Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission, wishing for robust career paths for its legislative staff.
